Would you join me for a night to make art and remember loved ones we have lost?
Every year, as I live more and more into cyclical/ seasonal wisdom I feel more at ease in my body, and more in rhythm with what is happening in nature around me. I feel less pull to “always be busy” when the world tells me to, and I’m learning to trust my intuition.
The thin veil refers to this time in our year when the leaves are falling off the trees, we feel death and loss all around us, and we are closest, most connected to those who have gone before us.
The veil is thin, between our ancestors and us.
It is a time when we may be more acutely aware of the loved ones we have lost, and even the ancestors we did not know personally, but sense their presence within us, feel their wounds, their struggles, and collective wisdom.
I’m preparing for an ancestor altar- a visual remembering of the people gone before and their impact on my life today.
For this, we gotta have candles, lots of candles:)
Join me for an evening of pressed flower candle decorating, drinking, eating, chatting about our losses, and how we can remember
